Our Talent Academy

Along with bringing in experienced people into the business, we pride ourselves on hiring new talent, often straight out of education and developing them via the Government Apprenticeship programmes or our very own trainee programme. We teach them The Letting Game way, with a strong emphasis on customer service and learning the letting process, and enrol and fully fund all staff on the ARLA Propertymark level 3 award in Residential Letting and Property Management.

We are extremely proud that many of our team members joined us as trainees, and are now managing a team, just a few years later.

The Letting Game are able to offer a talent academy to develop people in the lettings industry

Success stories

Alexandra Drake – Associate Director

“I joined The Letting Game in June 2017. I had left education, then worked for 9 months within Administration in a Law firm. I really liked the idea of joining The Letting Game as I got a great feel for the culture of the company from the moment I walked through the door to have my interview. I got offered the job and started as a trainee in the Administration Department.

One year later and I had passed my Level 3 Technical Award in Lettings and Property Management and had been promoted to Tenancy Manager. Then, in November 2019 I was promoted again, to Department Manager for the Administration Department. I am now managing our team as Associate Director and I have learnt so much in the five years I have been here, all while getting close support and guidance.”

Hope Maddison – Student Lettings Manager

“I joined The Letting Game in April 2022, excited to work for a letting agency that challenges the way things are done in the market. A real Bristol independent that embodies this vibrant city I’ve grown to love. I had 6 years of experience in the rental market but had seen limited opportunities to progress in previous companies. I started my journey with The Letting Game as a Tenancy Progressor. Since joining I’ve been able to demonstrate my skills, further develop my knowledge and grow with the support of the business and my colleagues. Within 9 months I was delighted to be promoted to the position of Student Lettings Manager.

I’m really enjoying the role especially helping our landlords, tenants and even their parents!”
